Baby girl card, pink again!

.
This card is a pretty basic card, I thought that the beautiful ribbon and stickles just gave it that classy look. The cute little bear is made with a MS punch. The card is sold already.
This past week my full card box became an almost empty one, there are only a couple of cards left and the rest is sold! I can't tell you how much this means to me, not only the money, but the fact that people really wanna buy them. So now there is some money in my craft wallet and you know what is gonna happen LOL!
I helped out at a fundraiser and was offered to bring my cards to sell, so it really was all good!!
Have a great day and thanks for looking, Anja

More green and pink with Penny Black

You can tell which colours were laying on my table, pink and green. Love this colour combo!
The image is from Penny Black, again watercoloured with Tombo's and stickled up.
There is a wrinkle in the ribbon, can you see it, I got it out after I took the picture.
There is really nothing more to say about this card, I think it's cute, it will go in my box.
Have a great day, thanks for looking, Anja

Just Rite birthday

I am sitting here at my computer, checking out some blogs, sipping a coffee, ready to start the day, yes, this late, I had to watch Joannie Rochette skate last night. Wow, what a strong girl!
All this Olympic stuff is cutting into my sleep time.....so today I was thrilled with an early phone call that school is cancelled...yippie.....turn off your alarm and sleep in!!
Luckily I had made this card earlier this week so I have something to share.
It's a pretty basic card, the image from Just Rite is watercoloured with Tombo's and stickled up.
Pretty simple, I love the details of the stamp.
So I better get going now, do some useful stuff.
Thanks for stopping by, take care, Anja

So cute, little lambs and a card!

Aren't those little lambs adorable? They were born yesterday, lambing season has arrived at our farm! Two big boys and we are hoping that mom has enough milk but just in case, we are also doing some bottle feeding.
So it sure was "a hoppy day" here.
My card is a Penny Black image, watercoloured with Tombo's. The MS grass border punch came in handy again and to top it off a flower from Crealies.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Easel card

Today I should be making a golden card!! Scott Moir from Ilderton and Tessa Virtue from London earned a gold medal with ice dancing! We live just outside from Ilderton, we signed the banner for them, the whole town was cheering!! Such a nice young couple.
Anyway on to my card, it's my first easel card and I went for a crisp look, again in spring colours.
Yesterday we got a fresh blanket of snow, no spring for us yet, which actually makes everything outside nice and clean.
The instructions for this card were found on Splitcoast, it's really easy and the result is very nice.
Have a great day and thanks for looking, Anja

Spring card!

The weather was really nice for a couple of days, lots of sunshine and milder temperatures....it made me think that spring was around the corner and it inspired me to make this card.
Today it's snowing, if the weather people are right, we are gonna get quite a bit.
For this card I have used my Cricut (Walk in my Garden) to cut out the stems of the flowers from Crealies, the stamps are from Just Rite, the square is made with MS punches. It didn't take long at all to make this card!
Maybe if we all make spring cards, the snow will go away.....
Have a great day and thanks for looking, Anja

One more..............

One more stampscapes card, I am having a lot of fun with them! It's hard to see in the picture but here I have used my white gel pen to accent some things, just before I sealed it.
The rocks on the front is a new stamp, I like the effect that it gives.
I should be working on some cards for a fundraiser I am helping with...but first I am gonna go outside and enjoy this beautiful weather.
Have a great day and thanks for looking, Anja

Masculine birthday tree

Working on some masculine cards...not the easiest cards to make. I am not completeley sure about this one, still think something is missing and I can't figure it out.
Time to move on to another card, lol!
The tree stamp is from Penny Black, coloured on the rubber with brown and different greens (Tombo markers).
The leaves are from a little punch. The sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps.
Hope to get some stamp time today, take care, Anja

More fun with Stampscapes

Today I am sharing another Stampscapes card with you, so much fun to make them and pretty easy. I have kept this one blanc and it will go in my box.
The hardest part is actually finishing the card after you make the scene. You don't wanna add to many other details and it seems that matting them in black makes them more pop.
Here I have added some ribbon and hope it's not too much, oh and some stickles on the water, mostly to cover some spots where I went a little darker than I wanted.
Have a great day and thanks for looking, Anja

Stampscapes card

Yesteday I pulled out my Stampscapes stamps and started playing....! didn't get the result I wanted so I googled it and read up on some tutorials...........Then I played again....and I have to say, I really like this card. It's just a lot of sponging, layer upon layer and you heat set in between. You can find lots of info on the website from Stampscapes.
The front of the card is scored with my Scor pal and the little sentiment is stamped first and then I cut a leaf from Nestabilities, inked up the edges and finished the card.
The card is already in the mail to Holland for a good friend who has a birthday coming up.
Hope he likes it too!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Impressabilities Thinking of You

The 3 impressabilities I own are not used much, in fact they never get used, I can't seem to get a nice, crips impression. So yesterday morning I googled it (again) and tried again, the background is okay, not as deep as I would like but the light purple Nestabilitie is a lot better. I ran it through my CB first to cut it and then put the paper with the die still on it with the Impressablitie through the CB, then you get a nice, embossed cut with border we are used to with Nestabilities, does it make any sense?
This is another elegant card, done with my Just Rite stamps. Love this colour combo.
Flowers and branches are made with punches and with my new dies from Crealies
Some liquid pearl along the border and the card was done!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day, Anja

Glam it up, CIC 7

Clam up a card, that's the challenge this time for the Clearly Inspired Challenge 7, you can read about it here. I think most of my cards could enter this challenge, LOL! I love to stickle up my cards, put bling on and make them glittery! Not sure if those words really are words, oh well, I can always say that English is my second language!
This card is done with a new set from Clear Dollar Stamps, it's called Bitty Botanicals, it's a new release for this month, just adorable.
The sketch is an old MOJO sketch, I always save those because they will give you the perfect inspiration for a layout. The tiny, pink pearls are more shiny in real life and the stickles on the flowers are diamond.
So pink flowers, bling, ribbon, all the things I love to use.
Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Welcome little one / CDBC2

Over at Lauri's blog, you can check out several challenges and see her wonderful work.
This challenge is HERE . The challenge is to use a duck on your card....mmm, this is the only one I have, and I think it's a pretty cute one. If you play the challenge, she will email you a digital stamp image, so cute. I am new to digital images so lots of new things to learn. This is a monthly challenge, lots of time to play!
I have watercoloured the duck with Tombo's, did some sponging and even some shading, cut it out with Nesties and made it into this card. I wish I had cuttlebugged the blue background with the Swiss dots but I wasn't gonna take it apart. Oh, and of course there are some stickles used, waterfall for the water and diamond for the rest. The image and sentiment are both from Clear Dollar Stamps.
Today is Family Day here in Canada! It's nice to have an extra day off, having my college son home for 3 days and enjoy some family time, we are planning to go skating this afternoon.
Have a wonderful day and take care, Anja

A card for encouragement

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you! Show some love to all your loved ones and to the ones you have a hard time loving!
This card is for a girl from church who is going on a mission trip for 4 months to Lima and we wanted to send her a card full of encouragement.
The flowers on this card are made with some of my new dies from Holland, check out Annelies' store here
The sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps, butterflies and border from MS, some Nestabilities and CB embossing folder. I like this colour combo!
Have a great day and take care, Anja

Simple sympathy, ssnotime126

It's been a while since I have participated in Sharon's challenge, you can check it our HERE
but today is the day. I need a sympathy card and I have used the colours from the challenge, purple and green, to make a simple card.
The colour of the ribbon looks way off in the picture, it is purple but here it looks like black.
I am hoping to get some more stamping time today, but I would also like to watch the Olympics.
So sad what happened yesterday, hopefully nothing like this will ever happen again.
Take care and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Matching the ribbon

So many pretty ribbons......I really have to say no some times but it's all so pretty, LOL!
This is another ribbon from Michaels and I made the card around it. The new punches from MS
are adorable, if you read the instructions first it's very easy to get a perfect square, oh well, lots of scraps are gone now. The sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo the cute little wedding cake from
Clear Dollar Stamps
After I gave the cake some colour, I cut it out and stickled it up.
I am trying to get some different cards in my box so that when I need one, it's right there.
Nice try, right?
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Happy Birthday with Ridley, the raccoon.

Another card with my free set, I know, raccoons are not brown, I have lived here long enough but he sure is cute and I had to match the paper, he he!
After I finished the card at first I saw the grass border punch from Martha Stewart and thought how perfect it would be..... so that one is part of my collection now too.
I am not sure how often I would use this colour combo, it sure is different.
The image is coloured with Prismacolour pencils and Gamsol and the sentiment is from Penny Black, and of course some bling out of my box. No stickles, this time.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Anja

Exciting News!!

I am so excited and honoured to be choosen!! Some time last year I fell in love with the nice stamps and collection from Clear Dollar Stamps and now I got to pick a free set! Yippee!

The set I have choosen is called "Lovin' Ridley & Rosie", it's very cute and great for Valentine and Anniversary card but also for other occasions. It is great for colouring!

It gets me out of my "box" and I have made some cards with it to share with you.

Thank you Clear Dollar Stamps for giving me this oppertunity!!
Have a great day, Anja

Hoppy Birthday!

Wishing our 74 year old neighbour a hoppy birthday with this card!
He is always a busy guy, farming, singing and playing his guitar, enjoying his family, volunteering and more. Wow, I sure hope I am doing all those things when I get there, well, probably nobody wants me to be singing.....
The white border on the bottom of the card is embossed with one of the border folders from CB, hard to see in the picture, the sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps and the frog from Penny Black.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Elegant with Clear Dollar Stamps

Something completeley different came out of my hands than I had in mind.... I wanted to play with the set Art Deco Medallions from CDS , I was planning on combining them with some of my
Just Rite stamps. Well, it didn't work out that way. I had the colours, ribbon and charm laying on my table, planning to put them to use, later I added the pearls, I wasn't sure at first if they would go with the charm, anyway, after a while, it all came together. I am happy with this card.
I kept it blanc, for no other reason that there was no spot to put a sentiment, LOL!
Have a great Sunday, we are going out for brunch with all our boys, take care, Anja

Biggest Wishes

When I saw this set from CDS, I fell in love with it! So cute and so much fun to colour and of course for me, it called for lots of pink!
I watercoloured with my Tombo's, used some sakura pens and stickles, the dp is from my stash.
At first I was gonna use some ribbon too, but that was too much, so my cute, velvet ribbon has to wait for another card.
Flowers are from my old bag and the Dollar store, I am patiently waiting for my package to come in, sigh, something went wrong with it but now it's on his way. I just have to be patient!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day, Anja

Butterfly encouragement

I didn't have a whole lot of time but I wanted to send a card to a friend who goes through a rough time. The butterfly is from a set from Inkadinkadoo, stamped with brown versafine and then I put twinkling H2O's over it, so IRL it sparkles. Some MS butterflies, EK borderpunch, pearls, ribbon, CB dots and teh scor pal. Didn't realize how many things were involved,LOL!
Take care and have a great day, Anja

More Penny Black...

Another Penny Black card, love those cute images! This one is coloured with Prismacolour pencils and Gamsol, such a fun technique. Some of the flowers are from punches and some are from my flower bag, the little rhinestones came in the perfect matching colour. I got those on Monday when we went to this giant dollarstore between some of the games.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Penny Black Challenge

Here is a card for someone special in my life for the saturday challenge over on Penny Black's blog.
This week I finally played, the challenge is called Someone Special, and the people I love are very special to me so that's easy.
The image is from a Penny Black set called "Piece of my heart".
I used my prismacolour pencils and some Gamsol and followed the colours from the dp.
Hope you like it, I am happy with it!
Have a great day, Anja

Time for some pink.....

Wow, what a day we had yesterday, gone for 12 hours! The boys and girls team both placed 2nd so they did pretty good. Some tough games were played and some of them will be hurting today, I think, but it was a lot of fun.
So no, I didn't make a card yesterday, but I saved one to post today.
Another birthday card with a set from Clear Dollar Stamps .
This set is called Peony and I just love this big flower. watercoloured, cut out and covered in Crystal Lacquer and glitter sprinkled on top. It had to be pink, LOL!
Have a great day, I know I will be catching up on laundry and such, take care, Anja

Birthday card

Again a quick post today, my son is in a basketball tournament so I get to spend my day watching, cheering, chatting and maybe even visit the local (nearby) stamp store!

It's gonna be fun!

But of course I couldn't start the new month without sharing a card.

For this one I have used another set from Clear Dollar Stamps, it's called Birthday Celebration.

I did cover the top with diamond glaze and put some beads on it, I think it turned out okay.

Thanks for stopping by, take care, Anja
