Super quick card

This was such an easy, quick card. Perfect to make after a very busy day. Janine from www.2bkrafty.blogspot.com
used her Martha Steward punch on one of her cards recently and I completely forgot I had that one, so....here is my card.
The flower is from SU, and I put some pink twinkling H2O on it, very carefully because I had used dye ink and normal cardstock.
But I just wanted to have some shimmer on the flowers to make them pop. The ribbon looks way better IRL and the saying is from Stampendous, a little bling and some scored lines on the top and bottom.......all done.
Enjoy your day and thanks for looking, Anja

Kazan's sketch

This is the card I made for the sketch from
It took a while because my plan kept changing but I am happy with the result.
So my stamping time is over for today, hope to be back tomorrow, thanks for looking, Anja

A super quick card

Last night I made this card super quick with scraps on my table for my son who went for his G2 drive test this morning and he got it.
So I am very proud , I know now the worrying start but that's all part of it.
Maybe I'll get some stamping time today, I am thinking about Christmas cards for Sharon's challenge, check it out at www.notimetostamp.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com
Enjoy your day, Anja

Same flower, different layout

I am in need of a couple of thank you cards, can you tell, so I have used the same flower again. A little different but simple and quick.
So there isn't a whole lot new to this card.
Thanks for looking and have a good day, Anja

Playing with twinkling H2O's

I had this card all done in my head, how easy is that and it actually worked out well when I started playing. The background is made from watercolour paper with twinkling H2O's, the image stamped with Stazon on acetate and put over top. You can still see the twinkling effect only not in the picture. Some dew drops, ribbon and a saying from SU underneath. The image stamp is from Crafty Individuals made by Magenta.
Hope you like it as much as I do, enjoy your day, Anja

More critters from Penny Black

Another card with critters from Penny Black, I am starting to like them.
I fall in love with almost every flower stamp I see, so I am challenging myself to try out other things......this is one of them. I have used my Tombo markers to watercolour the mice, the rest of the card is pretty simple.
The icing of the cake has some twinkling H2O on it to make it sparkle.
The dp is from SU, ribbon out of my bucket, other cardstock is SU.
Enjoy your day and thanks for looking, Anja

Mojo Monday challenge #47

This card is for the Mojo Monday sketch #47 and I have to say that I am very pleased with this one.
You can find the sketch here:
I have used wild wasabi, taken with teal and cool caribean.
Love that colour combo.
The birds are from Inkadinkadoo, coloured with twinkling
H2O's and the saying is from Verve Visual stamps.
Hope you are enjoying this beautiful day and thanks for stopping by, Anja

Purple and flowers

When I first started stamping mellow moss was my favourite colour, now there are just so many colours to choose from and my list with favourites seems to be never ending.
I have made this card for Sharon's challenge,
She has a new challenge every Friday, I know I am late,
this one was to use flowers and purple.
And since I love flowers it wasn't difficult.
I have used my twinkling H2O's on the flower from
Stampendous, the CB dots embossing folder, ribbon and cardstock from SU, the purple paper is metallic.
The little saying is from Morningstar, just perfect for the little (scalloped ) punches.
I am hoping to be back later with another challenge, thanks for looking, Anja

Taylor's cupcake challenge,TECC#25

For the challenge from Taylor, http://www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/, I came up with this card. NO FLOWERS!!
I don't think it's my favourite card but it's done.
I am happy with my watercolouring with Tombo markers.
And I finally made a card for a girl instead of for a boy and that's a good thing since that section of my card box is empty. Now I am gonna play with my flower stamps for Sharon's challenge, purple and flowers, sounds good to me.
Have a good day and thanks for looking, Anja

Don't know how you call that.
The dp is from Michaels, the silver paper from CM and the rest is SU. The size is 5x5.
The stamps are from Inkadinkadoo, and aren't you proud of me..........NO FlOWERS!!
That's it for today, we are off to the wedding.

For our new neighbours

Yesterday my friend came over and we took some time to play, she was working with this dp.
So later that night I saw the leftovers and I came up with this card for our new neighbours down the road.
Not a lot of stamping, just dp and Nestabilities, CB embossing folder (I really like the dots folder), punches, ribbon, and
some dew drops. The saying is from Verve stamps.
Now I am off to bake them a "boterkoek" it's a Dutch recipe,
sweet and yummy. Hope they feel welcome on our road.
Hope you all stayed cool today, thanks for looking, Anja

A cased card

Do you love those free magazines as much as I do?
I am talking about " scrapbook & cards today",
love to get this magazine and I really look into it so many times to get inspired.
For this card I have CASED a card from the summer issue,
Melissa Phillips made it, you should check it out.(page 58)The ribbon doesn't look like the right shade in the picture but IRL it is fine.
The dp is from my scrap bucket, and the rest of the paper is SU. For the stars I actually pulled out my stencils......wow that is a long time ago and my new craft knife from Fiskars, it works really good, nice and easy.
The sentiment is from Verve stamps and the row of stars I don't know.
I think I am gonna save this card for my youngest son in August, have a nice evening and thanks for looking, Anja

Colour challenge

Today I have made this card for the colour challenge from Splitcoast, almost amethyst, wild wasabi and so saffron were the colours for this challenge.
Not a lot of so saffron, just a touch.
The flower stamp is Inkadinkadoo, so saffron flowers are done with a little punch and the sentiment is SU.
Ribbon is out of my box and I have used some dew drops.
Pretty basic but I am happy with the result, I like the colour combo and will use it again.
Hope you all had a nice day, thanks for looking, Anja

Bright coloured card

While I was cleaning up my worktable I came across this set from Magenta, unopened and never been inked........
So I sat down and made another card, forget the cleaning.
The sketch is from Taylor, you can find it here
http://www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/
The saying is from SU.
Now I have to run to get some things done here at home.
Have a great day and thanks for looking, Anja

The inside of the sympathy card

As promised here is the inside of the sympathy card.

Simple sympathy

This was a really quick and easy card to make.
Since I had no sympathy cards in my box anymore I made 2 of those, you never know when you need them.
I will also post a picture from the inside of the card, it is a nice verse.
That's it for now, have a great weekend, Anja

A girly card with my new stamps

Last week I found out that one of the stores I shop changed owners.......oops and I still had a good size giftcertificate........I went there and I could still spent it, I was so happy. So I got some new stamps, one set from doodlebug design which I have used with this card.
The saying is from Verve Visual and the sketch from www.sketchesbytamara.blogspot.com
No flowers, bright colours and my second post for today.......my DH took all the boys fishing so I have some time to myself, I am really enjoying it!!
Hope you have a good day too, thanks for looking, Anja

A simple thank you

Another challenge and more scraps used in this card.
I love it when I can use those scraps, the colours are all really boyish, can you tell?
The card came together really quick, like that too.
Check it out, it is really cool!!

Same flower, different card

This card took forever to make, I started it 2 days ago by watercolouring the flowers, then yesterday I thought I was gonna use this piece for the sketch from
www.2sketches4you.blogspot.com
This is a lovely site and wonderful sketches.
Anyway I had something in mind, it didn't work at all so late last night I put it aside. Tonight I finished it, it didn't work with this sketch, what was I thinking?
This is supposed to be fun....so I made a creative detour.
I will try to make another card with the sketch, who knows, maybe tonight.
Thanks for looking, Anja

An elegant card

Another flower card but that shouldn't be a surprise anymore.LOL
I think this card has an elegant style, the soft colours with the pearls.
It is for an older lady and I hope she will like it.
It is so hot outside and humid, it is nice to sit in a cool house.
Have a good day and thanks for looking, Anja

Birthday boy card

This morning I had stamping time with friends, so nice.
I made this card for a boy's birthday, the idea came from the gallery from Verve Visual, I changed some things and this is the result.
The dp comes out my scrapbucket, the stars are from an unknown set and the saying from Verve Visual.
Thanks for looking, Anja

SC183, a masculine card

For SC183 I came up with this masculine card. I have used my Stampscapes stamps, coloured them with Tombo markers and stamped on glossy cardstock. I also sponged on some colour.
The one piece of paper is vellum(on the left) but it doesn't really show as vellum. All in all I am statisfied with the result. Masculine cards are always hard for me.
We have enjoyed the sunshine this afternoon, playing in the pool and having my parents over, hope you all had a good day too, thanks for looking, Anja

A favourite layout

When I don't know what I am doing this layout always seems to work for me.
I had stamped the flowers on watercolour paper and coloured them with tombo markers the other day and the piece was just laying on my work table, tonight I picked it up and finished the card.
Nothing new but I thought it worked.
Thanks for looking and have a good night, Anja

Back from holidays

Camping was a lot of fun but it is also good to be home...........
Just before we left I got the stamps from Verve Visual in the mail, they are so nice.
Between doing laundry I did go downstairs and made this card.
It took me a while but that's what happens sometimes.
The bird stamp is from Inkadinkadoo and the saying from Verve Visual.
I really like how it turned out, the card is for my friend Jeanette, so if you are peeking, just wait till I put it in the mail.
Thanks for looking, back to laundry and all sorts of other stuff.
Anja
