Garden scene for CRAFT A SCENE

As I said in my first post for Craft a Scene , I do not like to garden and my husband does most of the yard work. He loves big rocks and trees, and after 13 years here our back yard looks like a park! I simply enjoy all his hard work!

So I was thinking about that while I was making this card, the dog is chasing the butterfly as I wanted to make it a bit more playful. I started out stamping the garden foreground from Art Impressions with memento ink. Then I added the twisted oak, SC 226 E from stampscapes. I inked the stamp up with Tim Holtz distress markers ( vintage photo ,peeled paint, forest moss).

I coloured the foreground and the rock with Spectrum Noir markers and Prisma pencils. The wildflowers were added and I have no idea who made them, the set has no name, sorry. I also added some greenery between the trees with a sedge filler from Stampscapes.

Some flowers were added with SU ink, more mustard and perfect plum, around the rocks. The dog is from Pergamano Flower girls, stamped, coloured, cut out and popped up. The butterflies are from Martha Stewart, the red frame is also made with Martha Stewart punches.

The roses are made with a die from MFT, I also sprayed them with gold glimmermist. At last, I had to add some stickles on the flowers, yellow and fruit punch.Ribbon is from my stash.

All in all, lots of steps to make this card, hope you like it and that you have a change to play with us! Thanks for stopping by, Anja

Wow! That sounds like a lot of work, but it looks like it's worth every minute!
