Soft Art Impressions card

Watercolouring is so relaxing, easy and a lot of fun with the stamps from Art Impressions.

The possibilities are endless...So that is what I did yesterday, I made this card after I found some inspiration on Pinterest, you don't have to invent the wheel, lol.

Poppy card for Remembrance Day

In Flanders Fields

John McCrae, 1872 - 1918

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row, 
That mark our place, and in the sky, 
The larks, still bravely singing, fly, 
Scarce heard amid the guns below. 

We are the dead; short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, 
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields. 

Take up our quarrel with the foe! 
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high! 
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Today it is Remembrance Day, a day where we honour and remember all of those who have died for our freedom. The biggest thank you is not enough!

At the Crazies we are asked to make a card with a poppy, and this is the one I did.

Coloured with derwent coloursoft and a background with pumice stone and a stencil. A border die and a mat of gray on a red card.

My card for Dora!/Mijn kaart voor Dora

Today I am sharing my card for Dora's digi design team, you can find it HERE

The theme this month is :everything allowed, so that was easy for me, I picked a flower digi stamp.

Coloured it with derwent coloursoft pencils, I will list the numbers at the end, a background with a stencil and some dots, a diecut, sentiment on SU label and some bling.

We woke up to a couple of centimeters of snow this morning and it is like minus 8, I guess all the flowers are dead now.

Goedemorgen! Vandaag laat ik mijn kaart zien voor het design team van Dora digi's, HIER kun je alle info vinden.

Het thema is: Alles mag  Dat was geen moeilijke keuze voor mij, ik koos "zomaar een bloem" en kleurde deze met derwent coloursoft potloden. De nummers zal ik aan het eind geven.

Ik gebruikte een stencil voor de achtergrond met wat stippels, de happy birthday is gestempeld op een SU punch. Een paar sequinces voor wat bling, ik vond een pakje met verschillende maten.

Vanochtend werden we wakker met een paar centimeter sneeuw en het is min 8....denk dat al onze bloemen in de tuin het nu wel gehad hebben.
