Happy Saturday! Challenge time over at the CRAZIES. This week the challenge is:

According to the days of the year Calendar today is International Tiger Day. Create a card using the colours Orange, Black and White for your theme.

I cut out the animals with my Cameo, and make de background with distress inks and some stampscape stamps. Not sure, from which set the sentiment is...... I have so many, lol.

I know you all understand, lol

Altenew flowers!

On Sunday afternoon I spend some time colouring with Derwent colorsoft pencils, playing with Altenew stamps, ink, stencils, die, dots..........so relaxing! After I coloured my flowers, I worked on the background, at first I was afraid to "mess" it up, lol, but I think it added so much more depth and I am happy with the result. This card is for a friend, who has her 80th birthday coming up, she is an amazing lady.

C4C395, relaxing Summer days!

Challenge day over at the CRAZIES, it is Hammock Day today and we are asked to create a card with relaxation in mind.First of all , making cards is relaxing, lol!  Spending time in nature is something that will also relax me for sure. I am so lucky to live on a farm and we even have our own little bush, and a cabin with a creek.

It is close to home, so we will go there for walks with the dogs and have a coffee.

For my card today, I used the birds from Impression Obsession. I started out with the water, with oil pastels, then I used distress inks, and a variety of Art Impression and Stampscapes stamps. Sentiment is from Hero Arts. Making this card was also a relaxing time!! Love this hobby!

Stencil birthday card

Happy Friday! Have you tried the Clarity brushes yet? A set of 4 super soft brushes, so easy to use, to get ink on with no lines or smudges, a great look with no effort. For my card today, I used some mini stencils from Tim Holtz, set number 25, with two Tim Holtz distress inks, iced spruce and worn lipstick. For the main big panel, you will find that your stencil is not big enough to cover it at one time, but I just move it around till a get full coverage, do not worry about over lapping,it will look great. After I ink up the brush , I just put the first few strokes on a scrap piece, and after that, I go back and forth where I want the colour, no lines, no smudges, you will love it!

The sentiment is from the Tulip set from Altenew, I stamped it a couple of times with Versafine black and the mini misti. Some Nuvo drops, because I could not resist, lol.

Happy Saturday! Today is the third Saturday of the month, and that means it is sketch challenge time over at the CRAZIES. This stamp is new to me, a garage sale find, but it is an older HERO arts stamp. Coloured with derwent inktense pencils, sentiment also from Hero Arts. Some yellow Nuvo drops and ribbon to finish the card off.

Happy 1st of July, HAPPY 150th CANADA DAY!!! My family is so grateful  that we came to this great country in 1999, since then we all have become Canadians!

Sharing this card with you for the CRAZIES, the challenge is to make a card/project with something that you could see in a park......Our garden looks like a park and it's a joy to all of us.

I used my Art Impressions stamps to create this little scene, more something for a garden than a park, lol. Hope you like it! Till next time, Anja
