Welcome to another challenge for
Craft a Scene! This month we are asking you to create a winter scene.
Here in Ontario it is a funny winter, not too cold and not a lot of snow at all, I guess last year we got it all for this year too. It's okay with me, I do not particulary like the winter driving but I do love how everything looks so nice when there is snow, it covers up all the mud, lol!
So I had fun making a winter scene for this challenge, hope you get a chance to play.
Here is my recipe for this card:
I first stamped the main image (Heartfelt Creations snowy window scene) with white craft ink on a piece of kraft cardstock and then heat embossed it with opaque detail white embossing powder. It was cut out with a die from Spellbinders blossom tags and accents. I put Viva pearl ice white accents on the dots.
After that was dry, I took my glue pen and put some glue on the bottom and the trees and added some cotton ball white Fuzzy fun flock from Stampendous.
Then I put some dots with my gluepen around the image for snow and sprinkled some Diamond dust on.
The background is a piece of white cardstock, embossed with the Swiss dots embossing folder and on the top I used a snowflake punch from EK and also added some liquid pearls.
The strip on the bottom has a sentiment from Flourishes and the snowflakes are from Cheery Lynn.
I love this colour combo and am pretty happy how the card turned out.
Hope you like it too, thanks for stopping by and I hope to see your creations too! Anja
