A fun morning........4 cards done!

This morning I had a great time stamping with friends. For me it was a long time ago that I joined the girls but today I was there. Lots of fun!!
And I got 4 cards done, 2 I had started at home and this one is a cheater card, the image is a Penny Black sticker, so easy and quick.
I am trying to post the cards but the pc doesn't feel like uploading them all at the same time.....frustrating but that's okay, I will try to be patient.

Vanmorgen ben ik dan eindelijk weer eens wezen stempelen met de dames, was erg lang geleden maar vandaag was ik er dan ook. Vier kaarten gemaakt en lekker bijgekletst.
Aan twee kaarten was ik al begonnen en deze is gemaakt met een sticker van Penny Black,
snel en makkelijk.
Ik probeer om de kaarten allemaal op de pc te zetten maar die heeft er vandaag geen zin in.
Nog maar eens proberen.

Masculine birthday

Late last night I found out that it's my neighbours birthday today, so I had to make another card. It's hard to come up with an idea for this type of card.

Pretty basic, as you can see, I cut out the bird after I had stamped it again on creamy caramel cardstock.

Back with a simple card

Hope you all had a good Easter!

So nice to have the kids home today, nice weather and some stamping time for me.

By the end of the week the carpet should be installed in our recently flooded basement and Iam hoping to have things back to normal, whatever that is.

I have been a bad blogger for the past couple of weeks but I guess that's life.

Anyway, enough of that, I have made a card today with all my favourite things:

flowers, stickles, Nestabilities and ribbon.

Notice the nice tiny little bow, I got myself the handiest tool, a bow maker. A plastic little thing, very handy.

And I am happy with my watercolouring (Tombo's), all the practicing is finally paying off.

I haven't used sage in a long time and never with this bright pink but today was the day.

Hopelijk hebben jullie allemaal een leuke Pasen gehad!

Vandaag waren de kids lekker vrij, mooi weer en tijd voor mij om te stempelen.

Als alles volgens plan gaat, zijn we aan het eind van deze week klaar met de basement.

Ik kan niet wachten!

Vandaag dan weer eens een kaartje gemaakt met al mijn favouriete dingen:

Dinosaur card

Today I finally had a little bit of stamping time, enough to make this card.

The dinosaur is watercoloured with Tombo markers, the rest is pretty basic.

I thought it would make a nice birthday card for a boy although one of my boys didn't like my dinosaur at all. Too bad!

Vandaag had ik dan eindelijk eens tijd om te stampen en heb ik deze kaart gemaakt.

Deze dinosaurus is met Tombo markers en aquapen gekleurd verder is de kaart simpel.

Ik dacht dat het een leuke kaart was voor een jongensverjaardag maar een van mijn boys vindt de dinosaurus helemaal niet leuk en de rest kon er mee door. Jammer voor hem!

More watercolouring....

This past week I have been trying to improve my watercolouring. I sit down with my Tombo's and some stamped images , and don't forget my shot glass with water, and I colour and blend and colour and try again. The boys must think I am really loosing it now.
Anyway, this image turned out well, I think. So today I sat down and made it into a card.

De afgelopen dagen heb ik geexperimenteerd met mijn Tombo's. Ik wil heel graag leren om beter te watercolouren. Dus ik zit te oefenen, en nog meer te oefenen.
Deze bloem vond ik zelf goed gelukt en vandaag heb ik de kaart afgemaakt.

No cheating at all......

Last night I sat down with my Tombo markers, watercolour pencils, aquapen and a couple of images stamped on watercolour paper. Trying different things and playing with the colours.

The only cheating involved here is the fact that I copied the colours from the frog from the stickers but it's all my own colouring. The flower is done with the pencils and some twinkling H2O's, the frog with Tombo's.

I am happy with the results and today I finished the cards.

Gisterenavond heb ik verschillende dingen geprobeerd met de Tombo markers and watercolour potloden, ik had verschillende dingen gestempeld en heb gewoon zitten oefenen.

De kleuren van de kikker heb ik afgekeken van de stickers maar de rest is van mezelf.

De bloem heb ik met potloden en twinkling H2O's gedaan, de kikker met de Tombo markers.

Ik ben happy met het resultaat.

Feels like cheating.........

Wow, this is soooooooooo easy!!

Don't think that my colouring has improved overnight, I wish, but no, this is from a sticker sheet from Penny Black. The green dp from a clearance bin and the sentiment is a stamp I already had.

This card was done in 10 minutes, I can't believe how easy it was.

There are a whole bunch of stickers on the sheet so my box with cards will soon be filled with enough funny cards for kids.

Wow, dit was zo makkelijk. Een sticker sheet vol met kant en klare plaatjes van Penny Black.

Cool caribean blue and black, I like this colour combo, the dp is from Martha Stewart.

Some bling, paper piercing, Nestabilities and little silver beads with stickles in the centre of the flower, quick and easy.

More cards.........

I am not really good about making up a nice title for a post every time, oh well, more cards tells you just that.

The first card is for a boy who broke one of his bones, I feel sorry for him now that the kids have March break and for him not to be able to do all the things boys like to do.

The second card is another masculine card, the colours are a bit different but it's starting to grow on me. I pulled out my Stampscapes and kaleidoscoop inkpads and the card came together pretty quickly. The picture isn't the greatest but that's probably because it is on glossy cardstock.

Om iedere keer een nieuwe titel voor een post te verzinnen valt niet mee, nou ja, meer kaarten, je snapt het al.

De eerste kaart is voor een jongen die wat gebroken heeft, de kids hebben voorjaarsvakantie deze week dus dat is voor hem pech hebben dat hij niet kan doen wat hij leuk vindt.

De tweede kaart is een "mannen kaart", met andere kleuren dan gewoonlijk, eerst dacht ik dat ik het niks vond maar als ik er nu naar kijk, vind ik hem toch wel leuk.

De foto is niet zo helder maar dat komt omdat het glosssy papier is.

A productive night

Tuesday night I had a great time stamping at a friend's house and I got lots done.

The best wishes card is cased from splitcoast but the other ones are my own ideas.

Masculine cards are always hard for me to make, but I think the one with the horse and the one with the bird turned out nice. I am just working on filling my basket.

Dinsdagavond ben ik bij een vriendin wezen stampen, veel gedaan en gezellig bijgekletst.

"Mannen kaarten" maken vind ik altijd nogal moeilijk maar deze zijn wel leuk geworden.

Dan nog 2 jongens verjaardags kaarten, altijd handig om in voorraad te hebben.

Mijn voorraadje kaarten groeit zo lekker en dat was de bedoeling.

Anniversary wishes and three sympathy cards

Whenever I have no inspiration this layout always seems to do it for me. It is for an anniversary and going into my box for later. I am working on filling up my box with cards so that I don't have to make a card for a certain occasion last minute. I like to be prepared.

There are also no sympathy cards left in my box, it's sad how many I had to sent the last couple of weeks.
I always like to keep those cards simple and clean. Hopefully this will be enough for now.

Making up lost time

An update

Thursday morning we woke up to a flooded basement, long story, lots of water.
My craft area is either packed up or in our living room, quite messy.
Since there are lots of "drying" machines running in the basement we cann't use the computer if we are using other appliances. Hopefully that will be over in a couple of days and I can post some cards again.

Eindelijk is het gelukt om foto's te plaatsen met een hoop hulp van mijn zoon.

De eerste kaart is gemaakt met een leuk kippensetje, dat moest ik gewoon hebben.

Misschien kan ik het wel declareren als farm expense, grapje!

De tweede kaart is niet helemaal van mezelf, de image is gekleurd met Copic markers door Sheila van www.scrappingreatdeals.com

Ga maar eens kijken op deze site, op 21 Februari ga ik een workshop doen in haar winkel.

De derde kaart is ook simpel en snel, gemaakt met restjes papier.

Dat is mijn stamping van vorige week, het is niet veel maar het was hier een gekkenhuis met

verven/vloerbedekking enz. Niets ging zoals gepland maar nu zijn we een heel eind.

Big butterfly thank you

This afternoon I had some stamping time.......and I really enjoyed it!

I have been working on some cards, but I can't show them yet, they are for a class, tba!

This card is not for the class so I can show you. I have had this butterfly for a while and I had made some sketches from other people's cards, so this idea is not originally from me.

I like how the card turned out, the picture is taken in my new photo tent, it's so nice that I am able to take a picture any time of the day.

Vanmiddag heb ik tijd gehad om te stampen, en ik heb er echt van genoten.

Ik heb een aantal kaarten gemaakt die ik nog niet kan laten zien, ze zijn voor een workshop.

Deze kaart is niet voor de workshop, ik had deze grote vlinder al een tijdje maar nooit wat mee gedaan. Ik had een aantal schetsen gemaakt van anderen en daar heb ik dit van gemaakt.

Nu vind ik die vlinder helemaal leuk, ik heb de foto van deze kaart gemaakt in mijn nieuwe fototent, nu kan ik op ieder tijdstip een goede foto maken. Lekker makkelijk.

A friend is turning 50 today and I made her this card, a funny one, not really my style but I had this ribbon and I like the colours together.

Ik vind hem zelf erg leuk geworden, de slabbetje stempel is van de dollarstore, er zitten stickles op. The "welcome baby" stempel is van Verve stamps, de rest is simpel.

Nu zou ik naar de postbus moeten lopen...........maar het sneeuwt heel hard en er is al het nodige gevallen..........de kaart kan morgen ook nog wel op de bus.

MOJO Monday # 68

For Mojo Monday # 68 I have made those 2 cards.

I know, it's already Monday again and I am just late posting those cards. The first card is similar to something I have made before.

I was hoping my phototent would be in by now so that I could take a better picture, but it's not.

Today I am hoping to get some time to try sketch number 69.

Voor Mojo Monday #68 heb ik 2 kaarten gemaakt.

Er is nu een speciaal blog, www.mojomonday.blogspot.com, met een nieuwe sketch iedere maandag. Ja, ja, ik weet het, het is alweer maandag, ik ben gewoon laat. Had gehoopt dat mijn bestelde fototent binnen zou zijn, zodat ik betere foto's kon maken.

Vandaag hoop ik met de nieuwe sketch aan de gang te gaan.

Two cards to share

I have 2 cards to share today, another one is ready but I cann't get a good picture. I am waiting for a photo tent, finally I gave in and ordered one.

It promises good results any time, so.......

The Happy card is very similar to the one in the previous post but I like this one way better.

And the card with the bow.........that's my favourite. If you know me, I usually don't do bows because I cann't make them. This one was just perfect to me after the first try.

HAPPY birthday

For this card I have used a set and I have no idea what the name of it is. It is a clear set with a big HAPPY and a few other sentiments.

I looked through my scraps and made the card with what was in there. Planning to use what I have for a while........good plan, right?

Voor deze kaart heb ik een clear stamp setje gebruikt, zou niet weten wat de naam ervan is.

Het heeft een groot woord HAPPY en een paar andere sentiments.

Ik heb papier gebruikt van mijn scraps, ik ben van plan om eerst maar eens te gebruiken wat ik heb...........goed plan, he?

I don't think this card is my style....it has flowers, but I am not sure I like it.

The set is from Inkadinkadoo, and you build a scene.........

that's what I did anyway. On the flowers and the vellum butterfly are little rhinestones, they make the card sparkle.

I have also used a borderpunch from Martha Stewart.

For now I think I have used enough purple and I am gonna try something else. Have a good day and thanks for looking, Anja

Ik weet niet wat ik van deze kaart moet denken, niet helemaal mijn stijl, bloemen maar voor de rest...........

Het is een setje van Inkadinkadoo, allemaal losse stempeltjes en dan maak je je eigen plaatje, dat heb ik geprobeerd. In het midden van de bloemetjes en de vlinder zitten rhinestones, en ze glitteren leuk. De rand is een punch van Martha Stewart.

Ik denk dat ik nu genoeg paars heb gebruikt, ik ga maar weer eens wat anders proberen.

A super quick thank you card, ssnotime68

This is a super simple card. It's a flower from Inkadinkadoo and I bought this a while ago for $2, but had never used it.

So today is the day, the card is for Sharon's challenge,

I have scored some lines, hard to see in the picture, it really adds something to the card. The sentiment is from CTMH, some stickles in the center of the embossed flower and 3 mini brads.

The flower is embossed with white embossing powder and I have cut it out.

Een hele simpele kaart met een stamp van Inkadinkadoo, had ik een tijdje geleden voor $2 gekocht en nog niet gebruikt. Tot vandaag, de kaart is voor de challenge van Sharon,

Op het wit heb ik wat lijnen gescoord, beetje moeilijk te zien maar het geeft de kaart net dat beetje wat het nodig had. De thank you stamp is van Close to my Heart, 3 mini brads en een beetje stickles in het midden van de bloem.

De bloem is embossed met wit embossing poeder en toen heb ik het uitgeknipt.

Heel simpel, en snel klaar, ik ben blij met het resultaat.
