My box with Stampscapes is out the drawer! Can you tell? I had to make another scenery card with the background I made at Lori's class on Friday night, Tim Holtz paints, dylusions and some distress inks....stamped with Versafine back, used some Spellbinders borders on the bottom to finish it off.

Stampscaping!

That is a word right, stampscaping? In my craft room it is. Love the stampscapes stamps to create some scenes. For this one I have used some glimmermists and Tim Holtz distress inks. I did not wanna go to dark and the mists give you that effect. Have a great day, Anja

Sharing a sympathy card with you today, I made this one a while ago. Leaves are from Impression Obsession, dp from Kaiser Kraft, I believe.

The sentiment is from Just Rite. The rest of the card is pretty simple.

Happy Birthday card for Silke, C4C209

Happy Saturday and Happy Birthday to Silke our host over at the "Crazies."

October is her birthday month and she is asking us to make a card with your favourite stampset...well, today my favourite set is the Poppies from MFT. Who knows which one it will be tomorrow, lol!

The border is made with Spellbinders Edgebilities, some silver Viva pearls, Nestabilities and the dots embossing folder. I stamped the poppies in Tim Holtz barn red and then cut them out.

Crazy for Challenges, C4C207, chevrons and more!

Yippee, it is Saturday, time for another challenge over at the Crazies. Last week I missed out, life got in the way, it happens, but this week, I am in!! You can read all about the challenge HERE.

We are asked to use CHEVRONS, GREY, PINK, GREEN and YELLOW.

I love a good challenge, thinking outside the box. So I pulled out my chevron embossing folder and the Impression Obsession dies for the border. Then I turned on the Cameo, what a great addition to my stuff, lol. I cut out the flower and the shape in the middle. Sentiment from Hero arts, label punches from SU, some twine and a button and to finish it off some silver Viva pearls.

I saw this layout on Pinterest and I really liked it....so I made a little sketch and then forgot about it, lol.

A while later, I find it again and made the card. Flowers are cut with the Silhouette, butterfly from Cheery Lynn, the stamp is one of my garage sale finds. Of course some liquid Viva pearls were added, can't make a card without them. Have a great day, Anja

Playing with some stuff in my craft room, coloured this High Hopes sunflower with derwents inktense pencils.

Sketches are a great way to get you started on your card. My card is very similar to the one I posted yesterday, but I really like this wheat die from Impression Obsession........and the paper was still on my desk and I needed a get well card.....

Fall Thank you!

I see people using burlap on cards , really like that. Since I needed a thank you card, I thought the burlap goes very nice with the leaves (Impression Obsession dies). Sentiment  is from Papersmooches. Some raffia out of my drawer and voila, another card done.

Just playing with some punches, a stamp and a cut out from the silhouette. I am getting frustrated with how to take my pictures, this one is done without the photo tent and I still don't like it, but oh well, who has time to figure it all out, I rather be crafting, lol.

The challenge this week over at the Crazies is white on white, love that look. I did cheat a little bit, see the layer of silver I added? And oh boy, it was hard to take a good picture.

I used a big borderpunch from Martha Stewart, an CB embossing folder, sentiment from Paper Smooches, some flower punches and the frame is from the Silhouette.

Flowers and pearls, C4C 202

Another challenge over at the Crazies, this time it is right up my alley, flowers and pearls. Two things I love to use, so it was not hard at all. The flowers are the MFT mini rolled roses, they are one of my favourites.

Paper Smooches and Inktense pencils

Another dark picture, sorry, I am trying to do better , this one is done with a photo tent and lights but I am not sure. 

I stamped the Paper Smooches animal on watercolour paper and coloured him with Inktense Pencils, sentiment and dp unknown ( have had it forever) the clouds are from Impression Obsession. Borderpunch from Martha Stewart.

It's the card I made for our youngest son, who turned 16 last week.

I used the colours from the country where he was born and cut the shapes with the Silhouette.

Friends of us had a 25th anniversary and we were invited to party along with them!

Buttons and bows, for the challenge over at the Crazies this week. What a great challenge, I am loving it!

Last week I did a baby card and since I need another one, I came up with this. The onesie is a cut out from the silhouette, some flowers from a punch, border punch from Fiskars, and an embossed background. Ribbon from my stash. Hope you like it and maybe you wanna join us this week.

Playing with dylusions and stencils!

                   

What do you do when you don't know what to make.....well, I pulled out some Dylusions ink and stencils. And some glimmermists and papertowel, I was so smart to play in the kitchen...A little while later, I had some nice backgrounds. This one I turned into a card, love the effect. Love the animals with the Crazy 4 Challenges team!

The Crazy 4 Challenges challenge this week  is to put an animal on your card, not hard at all for me! I love animals and we have a variety here at our farm, chickens, sheep, horses, lama's, a cow, rabbits, dog and a few cats and I am sure some mice. And we have a donkey, Miss Daisy, she is so cute and friendly, we are patiently waiting for her to deliver a baby! I needed a baby card so I decided to combine it with this challenge, the dp is from my basket, who knows who made it, and the cute rabbits are cut with the cameo.

A quick masculine card, that's what I needed yesterday and nothing suitable in my box, grrr.

So thankfully the cameo came to the rescue....oh that wonderful machine....Anyhow, I cut the frame and added the scenery with Tim Holtz and Memento inks. Trees and birds are from Stampscapes.

This moring the card already made it to the person I made it for,pff, just in time!

Back to school with the Crazies, C4C198!

  The "Crazies" are thinking about going back to school, now, isn't that crazy??? I refuse to think about it, lol, we have 3 more weeks and I am enjoying it!!!

Complete denial for me!!

Anyhow, I did make a card, only to realize, I really had no stamps for this theme........but the Cameo came to the rescue...I cut out some letters, stars, borders, and an arrow, the background stamp was a garagesale find. I stamped it in Versamark and embossed it Tim Holtz embossing powder.

The punch is from SU, and that's how this project became a card, lol! Have a great day, Anja

Wedding card

 And so another week begins, sticky and humid weather, so it's nice to spend some time in my craft room, now only if I had some creative juices flowing, lol!

Anyhow, usually I keep a notebook beside me while I am surfing for ideas, so when I really have no clue what to make, I go through it, pick some things here and there, no clue how long ago I saw them, find some new things and voila, a card is done!

And she wants us to get "wordy", use a sentiment as the main focus of your card.  I love to make those cards like this, Just Rite stamps are perfect for this and you can use all your Nestabilities, to come up with frames and then put flowers on the side, o yeah, my "type" of card, lol!

Crazy 4 Challenges, Father's day card

    Love it when a card comes together easily! The challenge this week for Crazy 4 Challenges is Father's day. Come and play with us if you like!

I combined several stamps from Just Rite, Stampscapes, Rubbernecker and several inks. The anker is a punch from Martha Stewart, I punched several layers and glued them together. As I said before, making a scenery card is always fun! Thanks for looking, Anja

Scenery card for Father's Day!

 Almost forgot how much fun it it to make a scenery card. Here I started with a background made with acrylic paint and the jellyroll, stamped the image with Versafine black and took some Pan Pastels to add colour. So easy! Now to get it in the mail on time....
